Sunday Style: Red

Hey friends! Well the Super Bowl is almost over and here I am writing away! I wanted to talk about what I am doing for the month of February on Instagram too! All month long I will be wearing shades of pinks and reds! February is the month of love and the traditional colors are red and pink so why not show off in your clothes as well?  

I thought I’d show you a beautiful dress in today’s post that I got from Eloquii! It has a sweetheart neckline and long sleeves and pencil skirt that makes my heart swoon. 

Red is a bright color and commands power. It’s associated with heat and passion, sexuality, anger, love and joy. A woman wearing a red dress is sometimes thought to be alluring or appealing more than when she wears other colors. 

I always find it interesting to read about colors and people’s perceptions of them. Red is definitely a color though that will get you noticed! 

I am loving this dress so much! I’ve been wanting to shoot at this location for a while so I’m glad it worked out for us to do it today and with just the right dress!

Less Bitter, More Glitter

The saying goes "Spread Kindness around like Glitter" -okay it is really "Spread Kindness around like Confetti", but why not glitter instead? Glitter can be messy, it can be hard to clean up and can be fun and colorful. Just like our lives. Just a friendly reminder that this time of year can especially be a hard time for people. Holidays are a time when a lot of people see their friends and family but sometimes people don’t have anyone. Or maybe there are some people who don’t have much money to get gifts. Or some are remembering those that are no longer with us here on earth. Regardless of how you do or do not celebrate, remember to throw kindness around freely! Less bitterm more glitter! It’s a great time to spread cheer but so is all year!   Show a smile to a stranger or pay for someone’s drink behind you in line. Write someone a note to tell them how much you appreciate them.
