Sunday Style: Hawaiian Tropic

Happy Sunday! I usually do a new arrivals post each month featuring looks I love from Chic Soul and this time I picked a Hawaiian theme! Or tropical or whatever vibes you wanna call it. Since most of us aren’t traveling, throw on a coconut scent and these beauties and run to the grocery store even. They’re all perfect for wearing now or packing in your suitcase when you can leave for a tropical vacation. 

I’ve chosen four fun looks to show you all and I wonder which one you’ll tell me is your fave! You know I love dresses so I’ve got a couple of dresses and a couple of casual looks for you. 

Let’s start with this fun palm leaf dress! This one reminds me of a caftan with ties and it’s loose and flowy and just perfect for all of the hot weather! I grabbed a hat and paired these cute palm tree earrings with this dress that I also got earlier from Chic Soul!

The second look is this super fun romper!  It’s still got a tropical theme but with more pink and blue! This romper is a little shorter than I thought it would be on me but I don’t mind it. I paired some wedge sandals with it and these fun earrings from Chic Soul that I got a while back. This is the perfect lounging look while you’re still at home this summer!

The third look can be worn multiple ways! This beautiful white eyelet lace dress is perfect for accessorizing with palm trees! This has a fun flirty skirt and can be worn so many different ways! Pair a belt with it and blazer for work even! I added some sandals and a headband and called it a day! I also added the palm tree earrings for the perfect finishing touch.

Last but not least is this fun tropical top! I had an older pair of white denim that I got from Chic Soul so I paired them with the top and some wedge sandals. Don’t forget some fun earrings to finish off your look!

Less Bitter, More Glitter

The saying goes "Spread Kindness around like Glitter" -okay it is really "Spread Kindness around like Confetti", but why not glitter instead? Glitter can be messy, it can be hard to clean up and can be fun and colorful. Just like our lives. Just a friendly reminder that this time of year can especially be a hard time for people. Holidays are a time when a lot of people see their friends and family but sometimes people don’t have anyone. Or maybe there are some people who don’t have much money to get gifts. Or some are remembering those that are no longer with us here on earth. Regardless of how you do or do not celebrate, remember to throw kindness around freely! Less bitterm more glitter!
