May 2015 Favorites

It's been a while, friends! Thanks to those who have stuck around and waited for me to post again! It's been a busy few weeks and I was even able to squeeze a fun-filled vacation in as well! I thought I'd start back by showing my favorite outfits for the month of May! 
I wore this outfit out with a friend to dinner and to see the play "Hairspray". The bow in the back is what really got me!

This outfit was a Sunday Style feature and I wore it to church and a concert to see my friend sing.

This next outfit is an oldie but goodie! This cobalt dress is everything! I've been able to wear it so many different ways and this might be my favorite!

Shoes- Loft (last year)

This Lilly for Target dress has my heart! I wish I could get away with wearing this every day! I love the bright colors and floral pattern and it was perfect for Florida!

This outfit was perfect for rocking out to Nelly, TLC and New Kids on the Block! We had a great time!

This outfit was fun and bright for work. I loved the skirt with a more casual tee and fun shoes!

Oh this next dress is a dream! It reminds me of Cinderella and I certainly did feel like a princess wearing it!

I have a feature in the June issue of Sparklers Online Magazine and I wore this outfit for the feature! I love pink and turquoise together!

And on the last day of the month, I was casual and comfortable wearing this outfit!

It’s a special edition of Travel Tuesday on a Thursday!   Ya’ll  need to get on board with going to Galveston! If you’re in the DFW area and you want to get to the beach, you can head south a few hours and get to Galveston easily! Less Bitter, More Glitter

The saying goes "Spread Kindness around like Glitter" -okay it is really "Spread Kindness around like Confetti", but why not glitter instead? Glitter can be messy, it can be hard to clean up and can be fun and colorful. Just like our lives. Just a friendly reminder that this time of year can especially be a hard time for people. Holidays are a time when a lot of people see their friends and family but sometimes people don’t have anyone. Or maybe there are some people who don’t have much money to get gifts. Or some are remembering those that are no longer with us here on earth. Regardless of how you do or do not celebrate, remember to throw kindness around freely! Less bitterm more glitter! It’s a great time to spread cheer but so is all year!   Show a smile to a stranger or pay for someone’s drink behind you in line. Write someone a note to tell them how much you appreciate them.
