WhatUp Wednesday #35

Oh boy! I have done it again! Ignored you all and gone off and had so many fun adventures without you! Well, let me start by saying that I have officially been at the new job for a month and I am loving it! I have learned so many things and I know I have much more to learn! I love being challenged so this is great for me!

I recently went to Galveston for a few days and I posted in my stories a few times about it but I am going to tell you all about it in another blog post! I feel a trip this fun deserves its own story!

Wanna catch up on some fashion first? Great! Let me tell you all about this top I am wearing today! It is from SheIn and it is seriously one of my new favorites. I love a good gingham pattern and this top is certainly no exception! I paired it with white distressed jeans, bright earrings and clutch and yellow heels! Why not have all the color??

SheIn has some amazing pieces and I love being able to show you some of them! Did you know I got this floral dress there too? Such low prices and you can also use my code “curvygirl20” for an even bigger discount!

You can shop the top here and the dress here.

Let’s see some of the other outfits from the past week that you might have missed:

So I was able to visit a couple of restaurants over the past couple of weeks that I will share with you too! I finally made it out to Velvet Taco in Dallas on Knox-Henderson and boy was it ever amazing! I am already thinking about my next trip there! I ordered a brisket taco and a grilled chicken taco. My boss went with me and she got some kind of fish taco and a tuna taco. (You guys know I am not into seafood so I don’t remember). We also shared elote which is my new favorite food btw and some red velvet cake that was out of this world delicious!

I went to Pluckers for a friend’s birthday dinner and had the biggest beer I think I have ever gotten! I didn’t drink it all either. I got the boneless chicken wings which are really like big tenders in buffalo sauce. I also got the ranch waffle fries which were delicious! I forgot to take a pic of the food cuz I was so busy talking and having fun!

I also visited Rock and Brews which I hadn’t been to before either! Some friends moved here to the Dallas area from California so we met there for dinner. It is a really cool concept with a bar outside and open patio seating as well as a bar inside and open inside seating. It has memorabilia on the walls and big pictures on the outside of the building as well. We ordered beer and appetizers first and then I ordered a burger which was really good but I forgot to take a pic. Overall it was a really fun experience!

Last but not least is a favorite brunch place of mine called Jonathans in Oak Cliff. I actually haven’t been there in years but decided to cross the bridge one night after working in Dallas and see what kind of stuff was over there. I got the chicken and waffle which was super amazing! I also got a mimosa because why not when you’re having breakfast for dinner?

It has been a great couple of weeks! I will write separately about my weekend trip and recap Curvy Summer Scene and everything else I did over the weekend!

One more thing though before I go! Are you watching The Handmaid's Tale on Hulu? Last week was the season finale and OMG I cannot believe it! That's all I will say in case if you are behind on episodes! Make sure you catch up so we can talk about it!

Thanks for reading and following along with me!
