I'm So Tired

I'm so tired. How many times have you said that today? Today's post is more of a combination of a personal and an outfit post and of course I thought it only fitting that I took a picture inside of a tire to say that I am tired...cue rimshot... I have a lot going on right now in my life. While I don't want the world to know all about my personal business, I will say this, I'm tired. Some days I am just downright exhausted- not only physically, but mentally and even emotionally.

Why don't I sleep at night? Why do I fall asleep easily but then wake up in the middle of the night only to lie there and think and then toss and turn? I once read that when we wake up and can't go back to sleep, it's a good time to talk to God. We know He will be up and He will listen to us. I tried that last night and it worked. As I lie awake there in my bed, I brought forth my burdens and my cares and my concerns to Him. "Casting all your care upon him for he careth for you." I Peter 5:7 "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28

While it's hard for me to know the reason for some things that I am facing, I do know it is all in God's time and it is all in His way. I am learning the true meaning of the verse: "Rejoice in the Lord alway, and again I say, rejoice." Philippians 4:4  His true plan will be revealed to us when we reveal ourselves to Him and we trust and obey Him.

I hoped this helped someone today. I want to share that I am human just like all of you. I go through struggles and trials and tribulations just like everyone else. I may have a smile on my face but sometimes there are tears. Sometimes there is doubt and fear. I take comfort in knowing that I might be lonely but I am never alone.
Psalm 61 is one of my favorite passages that includes verses that remind me how much I need Him: "Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I."

Here are a few pictures from my outfit today:
