Curvy Girl on the Run's Summer of Fun Giveaway

This summer I am having so much fun! I think it's a combination of the weather being so nice after a terrible winter and completing my Forty Before Forty list. I am doing things I have either never done or just want to do after not doing them for a while. 

It's been so much fun that I decided to share the love with one of my readers and/or one of my followers on Instagram. This giveaway will be perfect for the beach or pool! There will only be one winner and here's what you will get:

1) A medium Lands End tote
2) A beach towel
3) A beach ball
4) An easy catch ball set(game)
5) A 23 oz tumbler with a monogram of your choice
6) A pair of New York and Company shades
7) Winner's choice of a $15 ITunes or Barnes and Noble gift card for music or books 

Giveaway is limited to US and Canada. Winner will be chosen on July 27.

It’s a special edition of Travel Tuesday on a Thursday!   Ya’ll  need to get on board with going to Galveston! If you’re in the DFW area and you want to get to the beach, you can head south a few hours and get to Galveston easily! Sunday Style: Green

Green is my favorite color. I think it brings out the color in my eyes and it looks great with my skin tone.There's lots of sayings with green in them too. Give the green light. Green thumb. Going green. (Make no mistake- I didn't say Go Green- that's for all you Spartan fans out there). Green around the gills. Green with envy- well, don't be green with envy but I am sitting here in sunny Florida enjoying the warm weather and time with family and friends... This green dress has been hanging in my closet for a while but this was the first time that I got it out. I scored it on a major sale but just haven't had a chance to wear it. I always say why wait for a special occasion?  What I love most about this dress is the neckline. I tell you all the time that it's hard for me to wear a straight skirt or dress and this is no exception. Sunday Style: JJ’s House

It’s been said in various ways that clothes don’t make the person, the person makes the clothes. I believe this to be exceptionally true in this beautiful dress that I am wearing in today’s post! This dress literally made me wish that I was heading out to the opera or a benefit dinner. I love that I get to wear and model a lot of clothes and some just feel more special than others. This dress was custom made for me so I got all the feels while I was zipping it up and looking in the mirror. It fits like a glove and I could not be more in love with it!  Let’s talk about  JJ’s House  for a minute. They have all sorts of dresses for special occasions, including bridal wear! I picked out a dress and did my measurements and sent them in with my order.
