Sunday Style: Holiday Day to Night

I thought I'd focus on some fun holiday outfits for the next few weeks. You know, something that you can wear out to the work holiday party or that friend's get-together or maybe even the Christmas Eve service at church.

For today's look, I decided to find something in my closet that I could take from day to night. Let's say you had to work but we're going out afterwards and wouldn't have time to change. I think pink is such a fun color and can really look great at the holidays too!

I took this short sleeve dress that I actually wore for Easter this year and put a fun tweed moto jacket over top. I am wearing some polka dot tights that I got last year and some black booties from the Altuzarra for Target line. I think this is a great look to wear to work and requires very little to make it look great for a holiday gathering after work.

For the night look, take off the stuffy tweed jacket and you're ready for some fun! I added sparkly accessories and might even change to some heels if I were really going out or maybe even pack some flats if my feet got tired from walking or dancing.

Dress- Banana Republic (spring this year)
Jacket- Gap (last year)
Necklace- Sassy Steals (last year)
Booties- Target (Altuzarra for Target this year)
Clutch- Social Monograms (last year)

This was a lot of fun to create these looks and just goes to show you that you can wear clothes in your closet so many different ways!

Hope you're all having a fantastic holiday weekend! Anyone shopping Cyber Monday tomorrow? I plan on seeing if I can find some good deals! Have a great Sunday!

  2. Love this look. I just love it when I see ladies remix items from their closet. This is a great idea that I am going to use. I love the dot tights too.

I might look at a few things I have had my eye on tomorrow and decide if they are too good to pass up.
