Day to Night

Today’s Style Me April challenge is Day to Night.  I bought this Loft dress at the end of last year on major sale and thought it would be perfect for today’s challenge.

I did go into the office today and I actually wore this outfit just like this.  I love the versatility of a dress like this because it really can be dressed up or down.  This dress could also be dressed down even more in the summer time and worn with a cute pair of sandals.

It is raining today so I thought I would cover up a bit more using this leopard cardigan and wear some comfy flats and carry a tote. I still wore the black chunky necklace because I was thinking if this was real life and I was meeting my husband or friends after work, I would only have to change up the shoes and the bag and my jewelry would already be on.  I also wore the gold bow belt just because I felt like wearing a belt today.

For the night look, I simply took off the cardigan and changed my shoes and bag.  I still like these Lauren Conrad heels from Kohl’s that I picked up last year.  They are a great dupe to the more expensive Kate Spade version.  I also love a great clutch and this one is even more fab since it has a monogram on it!
